Press release

TWD Japan Corporation is pleased to announce that we have fulfilled an order from Shimizu Corporation for large seafastening items, which were utilized in the construction of an offshore wind farm off the coast of Nyuzen, Toyama Prefecture. Our team successfully completed delivery by the end of March 2023.
The large seafastening items were supplied by Mitsui E&S and manufactured at their Oita factory. They were then installed on the SEP vessel (Blue Wind) owned by Shimizu Corporation and were used to transport monopiles, WTGs, and other miscellaneous items to the installation site.
TWD, a Netherlands-based company with a proven track record in Europe, designed these large seafastening items. With this order, we hope to contribute to a decarbonized society by earning the trust of our customers and establishing a solid track record in the anticipated rush to construct offshore wind turbines.
